Whoa, I had no idea this topic was still around.

It's not just trans, it's LGBT as a whole. I don't know a single LGBT person in Canada, I now know at least 1 person that stands for each of those letters. There seems to be a very high level of lesbianism as well. I see a lesbian couple at least a half dozen times per day (one is always a "tomboy" as they can them).

I'm not sure why it is tbh. They are very accepting of the LGBT community so maybe it makes people more willing to try. Many lesbians here will tell you they date toms instead of Thai guys because they treat them better and less likely to cheat on them.

His opinions are close to MLK's comments about the "white moderate." That if you're white and you're more interested in order than justice, or think Trump is a good man who has great ideas but the PC SJWs are always complaining about him saying nothing more than mean things, then true friendship with you is impossible because you don't fully care about your minority friends.

I understand where he's coming from but the thing that sucks most about this perspective is when you're a minority and distrustful of whites, and you teach your kids that angle (whether right or wrong depending on where you live), you're setting them up for misunderstandings. Black kid disrespects the police, suddenly he's shot because he wouldn't comply with simple orders. But I don't know what I'd do if I was in his position. Either trust the people who claim to like you but voted for a piece of shit like Trump who historically has nothing but contempt for your people, or be wary of those same people and isolate/segregate yourself for life. Neither is a good option.

pretty much any time before this one

my parents bought a house and raised two kids on one income, and my dad did not make that much back in the 70s when they bought the house

Yeah smack dab in the middle of the Black Death or fall of the Roman Empire would be a great time to have kids

Exactly because just when there's a huge decline in the amount of a single species is when they need to start repopulating, i'm glad you're learning.
