So yesterday I got a friend request from some lady I didn't know so I deleted it, thinking it was my crazy ex or one of her crazy friends looking to harass me.

A while later I get a direct message from her wanting to talk. I then look at her page and see that she's a friend of one of my friends so I message her back.

Turns out she saw all the times I posted messages on my buddy's page and she thought I was cute so she asked him if he knew me and what he knew about me. He told her I'm a nice and good guy and she would like me.

We hit it off and ended up exchanging phone numbers. The downside is she lives in South Dakota. She asked if I wanted to come visit her and I said I had to work the weekend and it would be tough for me to come. She asked if she could come to me and when a good time would be to visit. I told her she could come whenever she wanted and we would work around my schedule. She said she wanted to see me this weekend and I said yes.

She's pretty damn hot and a pretty nice lady. I wasn't planning on seeing anyone for awhile after what I went through with my ex but I'll make an exception for this girl.

It's a gas station job and my first day was 5 hours and it was so slow and boring it felt like I was there 10 hours.

I'm supposed to go in later today for 8 hours and my trainer said it'll probably be even slower today.

I can't deal with that shit. I want an easy part time job but if I'm gonna go crazy with boredom it just isn't worth it.

My boss yesterday was complaining about paternity leave and how this is America. You get payed when you work. He later complained about having to pay 9k USD for his honeymoon.

Should've asked him his thoughts on PTO. Also, you should've pointed out to him that he wasn't forced to pay so much for his honeymoon; he could've gone somewhere cheaper.

She was ranting on how it is a drain on the system that a police officer who joined the force at 21 and served 20 years will get full benefits till the day he dies

Should've pointed out that the police are in unions and those benefits they get after they retire are paid out through the union, and harms nobody.
