Studies that show the correlation between sodium levels and blood pressure don't control for sugar intake. Also, reducing sodium has the opposite effect, as the body (via the kidneys) will kickstart sodium retention (the little that's in the body) & a hormone called aldosterone. That hormone being produced is what increases blood pressure. But I think the lunch scene in the French restaurant with Landa & Shoshanna was much more powerful. The music that hits when he enters the room and the look on her face while she has to sit there and share a meal with the man who gleefully executed her family (including children). And that release of emotion/tension she gives after he exits the restaurant was insane. --- |
