Godstiel at the end of season 6 finale and beginning of season 7 premiere. I loved the Leviathans (srsly) but Godstiel had so much potential. But when he scolded Sam and Dean for not trusting him, got chills tbh.

Adam being dead.

Dean shooting Lucifer with the colt only for him to shake it off.

A lot others I can't think of right now.

I'm not sure why but lately the little toe on my left foot has been getting blistered once a week and hurts like a mother fucker. I do usually wear cheap socks so I'm looking to try out something better. These socks are 10 bucks a pair but have free shipping and a money back guarantee, so they're pretty enticing. I just don't want to waste my time with them and the hassle of sending something back if they're not what they say.

I dunno, Lisa was always portrayed as annoying but right.

Not entirely but there was typically more nuance to it than right and wrong IMO. She was frequently self-righteous but it was always highlighted that she had a tendency to be abrasive, narrow-minded, and unsympathetic until something knocked her off her high horse, like Apu's own superior sense of moral outrage regarding veganism, the Amnesty international footballs, or the "angel" speaking. Many of her big stories made her look like a self-centered crybaby who expected the world to bend to her whim and showed a great struggle to overcome it or compromise, which sounds a lot like how "SJWs" are generally regarded.

I'm half white and was raised by my white mother and her white family with my other mostly white siblings and we never had family reunions growing up. It pissed me off because I would always hear about other people having them or see them on TV shows. I asked my mom one day why we never had family reunions and she explained to me that every time we get together on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and sometimes other birthdays, all the people who came were the whole family. We never had anyone living outside of the DFW metroplex so it wasn't hard to get everyone together pretty regularly. So we didn't have family reunions but pretty much every holiday was one.

It's not entirely stubbornness but just a kind of "don't fix what isn't broken" mentality combined with "my team is the best."

I've been into craft beer since 2009 when I first turned 21 and I fell in love with the choice of it all. I legit get blue sometimes thinking about all beer I'll never get to try. Most of my friends, on the other hand, were and still are content with their 40s and their Miller High Life and so on (which I still occasionally drink as well). It gets them drunk and they like/don't mind/are used to the taste so there's no need to try anything else, potentially waste money on something they don't like, etc. even against the chances that there is something better and/or cheaper. And I understand that. There have been a few times where I bought an expensive beer or a sixer of something I didn't really like, didn't enjoy getting drunk on but still forced down. It's a real bummer and if you can eliminate that in favor of what you know you'll like, go for it.

It also kind of is what someone above said that people just don't care or can't think too much about it which is fine with me. I don't care what kind of car I drive or what kind of shoes I wear but I can get uppity about my beer lol so I get it.

Some of my friends are finally starting to come around because of sours, which I'm not entirely into tbh but it's neat that they're expanding and we have more to talk about beer-wise than the latest Keystone Light can design.

It's not really about price or anything. People pick something and like it. I'm not just talking out of my ass lol. My mom was in market research and I helped her work on Anheuser-Busch, MillerCoors, and a few other company's projects. We would have a 45 question survey that extensively asked about what beer they like, why they like it, would they be willing to try something else, etc. For an overwhelming amount of people, their explanation came down to "I've drunk it for so long and I know it's the best." Their beer was better tasting, more refreshing, worth the price if it cost more, had funnier commercials.

Some people even failed taste tests putting their brand against something else and still insisted that their brand was superior. One company, I think it might have been MillersCoors but I can't recall, put a fake beer in the options and asked if people had tried it, and if they said yes, they asked why people preferred their brand over. People literally wrote up complete fake ass shit about a completely fake beer to put over their brand.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you completely. It's fucking baffling but it's just what it is. She did something for MC's Blue Moon when they were trying to market their Horchata ale to the Hispanic demographic and they accused her of falsifying the surveys because when the people she surveyed went to the focus group, they were way too hesitant to try anything else. That one was for Mexican people and horchata is a pretty big beverage among Mexicans but many of them still overwhelmingly went with "their brand" which was usually Bud, Miller, Coors, Corona, etc.

And it has been the same thing with fast food, tortillas, sour cream, even fucking yogurt lol, and all kinds of stuff she's been tasked with over the years. People latch onto something, form a bond, and it is ridiculously hard to get them to break it.

He said it was seductive. You would never hear someone in the US say that term when talking about a 12 year old. At most they would call it a distraction.

So you don't have a problem when someone sexualizes underage girls and controls what they wear as long as they don't use the word "seductive" even though they use words like "distraction" and "inappropriate" (in addition to all of the implications and rationalizations) that boil down to "if you wear this boys and men will get all horned up"? Just to be clear: the word seductive is your point of contention in all of this even though what he did was the same thing that you can see has happened repeatedly in the US?

Really? Because if an adult official in the US kicked a sexy 12 year old girl out of a tournament for being too sexy they would have their ass beat.

He basically said she was dressed provocatively and that people could see up her skirt. Now that's stupid, creepy, and unfair of him to do but if y'all want to perceive that as him saying that he found her sexy and he was tempted by what she was wearing then you have to say the same of these administrators, faculty members, and parents in these situations as well:

I didn't expect the show to be as raw and realistic as it was. I've watched just about all the teen dramas over the years and the most accurate portrayal of the fucked up shit teens go through was Degrassi; this blew that shit right out of the water. Definitely worthy of its TV-MA rating and the push for awareness about who watches it, but I ultimately disagree with the criticisms that it glorifies suicide or mishandles the aftermath and coping with rape.

If you do take it, just be sure to get the rest you need and maximize your downtime with simple, less taxing ways to enjoy yourself. Don't try to be a superman, though. If you're feeling like it's getting to you then get the rest but on days you feel okay don't try to play too hard. That's what fucked me up early on, feeling too good after work and thinking it would be okay if I went to a party or stayed up later than usual. Ended up biting me in the ass. Figure out your routine and what works best for you and stick to it. Just think of it as the investment it is and it being temporary.

Enriched white flour products are bad for you, especially with how much they've been peddled. It's batshit insane to see how hard they've been pushed (food pyramid and such). Real, whole grain breads are generally good for you. Dairy products like yogurt and cheese, can be good in moderation but milk is not good for most people, especially (again) with how hard it's been peddled. Eggs are good.

I don't remember why I agreed to go because we had chickens when I was younger and I loved them. I didn't particularly enjoy it because in addition to the disinterest in chicken's fighting, it was mostly just a lot of standing around in a loud, smelly barn with a bunch of drunk dudes. I do remember that we got to eat at Grandy's on the way there and that was pretty rad. The drive up was a few hours and I've always hated long car rides.

Haven't thought about this in a very long time so it's weird.
