There was no need to own all the games because you could just run over to someone else's house and play it. We weren't overly critical back then, so we just enjoyed the hell out of almost everything. |

For some reason, the sign really interests them. Now, of course I know that Wendy's is bottom-tier fast food and you don't eat there unless you want to die. So, we went home and I ordered delivery from a local sandwich shop and told them it was Wendy's. They were thrilled. Dummies. |

I wore a Challenger t-shirt on the day it exploded, didn't know it was launching that day so it was quite the coincidence and my classmates didn't miss any chance to make that observation... kinda messed up my young and impressionable mind for a bit afterwards. Mine is also related to a space shuttle disaster. When we were growing up, my friend had a giant space shuttle wallpaper mural over his bed. The night before the Columbia disaster, I had dream where we were ripping down that wallpaper. I woke up to the news of the crash and was pretty freaked. |
