So what then? That many people were turned off by it because it launched with not many characters and no arcade mode?

I'm pretty sure crazy Nintendo fans would still buy the next Smash Bros game if it launched with fewer characters and no arcade mode.

Well, in a lot of cases, it's actually true. Take Black Panther, for example - the primary impetus for the movie and its production process was 'SJW nonsense.' It worked out, but it doesn't always do so (Mass Effect Andromeda says 'hi').

I think the movie was more "woke" than "SJW", though I wouldn't say it was neither

I liked the video, much more than the song anyway. I do not think I really understand it and Im wary of anyone who claims they can fully explain it. It looks like the kind of piece that different people will approach with their own biases and knowledge, and then interpret in very different ways from others. Thats cool. Its good to have art that we have to unpack.

The video is pretty clear on what it's trying to be.

Well, the way that Metokur went after Spoony, he deserved that treatment at least.

Yeah I agreed with everything he said about Noah and then some.

Which really hurt, as Spoony was my favorite in terms of the old school internet reviewers. He turned out to be a scam artist that hated his entire fanbase.

Spoony could have been today like the most popular ol' skool youtuber, but he slapped his fans in the face

Metokur's videos about Channel Awesome are accurate, but he also comes across as a douche at times in them. Still worth watching.
