What's upsetting is watching one user argue with a whole board where the one user is making an argument with actual facts, whereas the rest of the users In this thread with the exception of one that I saw (although I admit come page 4 I started skimming) have responded not with facts, but solely emotion and opinion.

What's even more upsetting is that these users who repeatedly refuse to adress the facts presented to them only to either change the subject by saying something irrelevent to said facts, or attack the user personally and try to dismiss him soley because he has a contrarian option ACTUALLY seem to believe they are in the right here. Its interesting but also sad to see, this is why living in echo chambers can be so dangerous. You're logically flawed ways of thinking are encouraged by other members of the majority and you end up thinking that it is just and fair to believe in opinion more than facts, because your peers act the same way.

I have cop friends that aren't like this at all. Stop grouping good cops with the bad/inept ones. It just makes it harder for the system to overhaul itself if good cops are getting victimized because of shit their co-workers do.

politics aside, when people talk like this, they are being naive. you really think the governments of the world are gonna just suddenly forget about borders? this is how the world works. if you don't believe in imaginary lines, go get on a plane to Korea and go to the DMZ at the North/South border and try to just stroll on into North Korea. if anyone tries to stop you, tell them it's just an imaginary line

It would be like if a top black high school basketball player was put in the white pro league. He wouldn't win every match, would probably be dominated a time or two by the best of the best. But by virtue of being taller than white people on average, he has a biological advantage and would beat a lot of the middling pro whities. Would you call those fair matches?

It's more to do with the fact that the people who make games lean heavily to the left, and thus reside in left-dominated gaming sites like Resetera.

Tbf ResetERA (and especially NeoGAF before them) have a lot more influence on video game development than gamefaqs.gamespot.com does

I did. They're an easy way to see what people like. If some 50 year old male invited me to a birthday party, I'd be more likely to give him a steak while if it was a 10 year old female I might get her some sort of doll or toy
