It is hard for me to imagine a better thought than a paranoid-for-his-life DK wildly spinning RAY around as a shield while it shoots a death laser everywhere, destroying everything.

I don't have many further thoughts at the moment, a lot to consider, but I think it's quite funny.

i don't understand how rika could ever give useful info to batman, who will be acting solo the majority of the fight, who doesn't know she has the timeloop ability, so has no reason to ever report to her

I have been kinda going back and forth on how I interp that in general; like if Link lost his most favored limb, which for arguments sake lets say is his arm with the master sword, would the sword just disappear or could someone else just reach down and pick it up

this is obviously another layer with armor thats attached to other parts that clearly aren't removed but like is it a clean break and just sitting there or is it whisked to the ether (or comedy option its still cleanly attached just with no arm inside so its just dead weight)

luckily i don't think it actually matters TOO much here but it is something i've been idly wondering to myself

and of course the loops stop earlier if she dies a lot earlier (which i suspect she will)

btw, if i am understanding rika correctly, here are her start points after n deaths for the first hour of match (baseline as start of battle for all lives):

1st Life: Start of Battle
2nd Life: 30 s into battle
3rd Life: 1 min 30 s into battle
4th Life: 3 min into battle
5th life: 5 min into battle
6th life: 7 min 30 s into battle
7th life: 10 min 30 s into battle
8th life: 14 min into battle
9th life: 18 min into battle
10th life: 22 min 30 s into battle
11th life: 27 min 30s into battle
12th life: 33 min into battle
13th life: 39 min into battle
14th life: 45 min 30s into battle
15th life: 52 min 30s into battle
16th life: 60 min into battle

she gets much less useful after a few deaths, since she can't affect anything before the start point for that loop - which includes enemy positioning

has anyone considered that dixie is guaranteed to be the super star since she'll find the hidden star thanks to squawks and theres no toad to sell other stars

The problem aside from Vivi being Paul Ellering and Leon being a master limb severer is your team becomes about using your best ability every week

Probably gonna be a ton of abilities literally never used with this system

i see this for sure.I did have a thought after reading this though:

While definitely not something that could be added to the TR at this point, i do wonder if theres some sort of jank 'ap repeater' cost you could bake in to the system - like, if you use the same ability two weeks in a row, it just adds to the ap cost naturally - so a 1ap cost ability could be used a second week in a row, but it'll cost you 2 ap, and then 3ap week 3, or whatever. This would need some thinking to work out the logistical kinks (like some abilities probably SHOULD be spammed and aren't a problem that needs to be addressed) but it discourages spamming the same ability without opening the floodgates to 25 abilities going off late game, while leaving the option to spam if you're willing to pay the increasing cost
