The only truly finite thing in the 50 US states is land. IMO there is some land with inherent value. For example beach front property that you could build an estate on, or land that could be used for a business venture. But I don't have any interest in owning acres of land in the middle of North Dakota or something. Actually if I could start a business venture on acres of land in North Dakota, I probably wouldn't. Theres also the elephant in the room he chose to ignore which is that with buying a home you are buying an asset. So that money you spend on the loan isnt lost. Every dollar you give to a landlord is gone forever, pissed down the drain An asset that I don't really want isn't worth that much to me. There are other places that my money can go.
