I can't find any articles about it, but Nexon, the developers behind Maple Story, had a stream for Niru, who was the highest level Maple Story player at 299 and was about to hit level 300. It was an officially sponsored stream that 20k people watched to celebrate the 1st Maple Story player to hit level 300. https://twitter.com/MapleStory/status/1783562860108316936 Right at the end of the stream before he hits level 300 (literally at 99.993% of the way there), he stops playing the game and goes off at the company saying how shitty their practices are and how shitty the game is lol. Then just quits the game without ever reaching level 300. idk if the devs cut off the stream on their end or not during this but he was also streaming it on his personal channel too.
