Subtle references and symbols. Love that the audience kind of knew that something happened between Robin and Batman and that Robin was more than a little jaded even without any line of dialogue stating it. Also, does this really fit the mythos? Yes Dick and Bruce have a falling out, and Dick is more than a little pissed with Bruce, but they split on relatively good terms. |
