No more jumpiness.Yeah, older games might benefit from it because at the time they were made more than one core was science fiction so having like 8-16 available makes the code "confused", for the lack of a better word, and it hurts performance. Pretty sure Crysis actually uses more than one core but only fully maxes a single one and that's the cause of the bottleneck --- No signature for you! >:( |

The game will only max one core, regardless of how many there are available. If you have 8 cores and disable 7, it won't make the remaining core suddenly perform better. in fact, you'd be hurting performance because the extra cores at least help processing background tasks while leaving the single core the game uses free for the game to fully use --- No signature for you! >:( |
