The only thing they'll probably cut are the fat jokes (which is a loss) and the infrequent gay jokes. The sexist jokes were always more about mocking how dumb Al was being.

We cant have Johnny Bravo or Pepe LePew cartoons anymore despite the message in their shows having the message sexual harassment results in failure and punishment where the title characters never succeed.

Jusenkyo is from Ranma 1/2 and is an area in China of cursed springs where various different beings have drowned in different springs, and if someone falls into them, they get cursed with the body of that drowned being.

Ranma falls into the spring of drowned girl so he takes on the body of a female when splashed with cold water, and back to male when doused with hot water.

Various different animals have drowned too.

Plus Aeris was the default option in 1997 when I played it.

The show dropping in quality during the Capaldi run pissed them right the f*** off, and they stayed pissed right the f*** off when the new actor was announced. Male, female, black or white - didnt matter. People had very little faith in the show. Jodie Whittaker did nothing to encourage fans that the show would go back to being a quality show. At the time the press releases and interviews were virtue signalling like crazy - that you had to like Jodie Whittaker or you were sexist and misogynistic. People dont like the watch this show or you are a bad person advertising. The BBC put so much effort in championing that they had a female doctor that they didnt bother putting any effort into writing good storylines with the new female doctor. A lot of people tuned into her first episode just to find out (or confirm) that the show still sucks.

I was saying the actor being one race / gender or another doesnt guarantee the show will be good or bad.

Doctor Who hasnt been consistently good since the Tennant and Smith era. Peter Capaldi being a white man and Jodie Whittaker being a white woman had no bearing on the quality of their runs. They both had poor writing and thats why the show took a critical decrease in quality. The quality of the new doctors run will depend entirely on the quality of writing. If he is given good writers, then I believe the show will return to its former greatness. If he has the same poor quality writing as Jodie Whitakers run and some of Peter Capaldis run then it will stay a bad show even if he is a good actor.

Will anyone take a guess at how much focus will be on the race of the new doctor in the storyline of the new show? Will he be experience racism?

The Peter Capaldi run had some bad episodes towards his end. I stopped watching during his run being aired as the show had just bored me and turned me off. But I did enjoy the start of his run.

Whoever succeeded Capaldi would likely have been complained about whoever they were. They werent complaining about the doctor being female, they were complaining about the doctor being Jodie Whittaker. If a better female actress had been chosen, they would not have complained, I would have imagined.

White straight men will bitch and moan for sure if the writers cannot write good storylines. If an actor appears in a poorly written show then the actor will be blamed for the show being bad.

White straight men will not bitch and moan about a show or movie featuring a black or female main character if the writing is actually genuinely decent.

Needless to say; the quality of the writing is more important to white straight men than the race and gender of its main character.

The intent and idea behind it is to insult white people. No, it's not very offensive compared to other words, but I don't think there should be double standards when it comes to stuff like this. It's hypocritical and comes off bad. Same with other lame jokes and stereotypes made towards white people even if they are relatively innocuous.

It's an insult based on race. Yes, it is racist, whether it has any power or not.

Ehh its originated from something that people in power used to do hundreds of years ago. Its more commentary on racist a-hole behaviour than white people as a race.

Or do you limit yourself to some swear words being appropriate to use and some are too offensive and derogatory to use?

I.E. would you use -phobic and -ist words as regular swear words?
