Woman (in mirror) - so I didn't remember how this song went before relistening to it, so seeing multiple people like lasa and such vote it as top song I was like "whoa even with harsh vocals?" I forgot this was one of their more chill songs, I've listened to their other two albums more than this one. They do a good job of telling a nice little story, this one about taking in the small moments of life.

Dressed to the 9's - fun rock, dude has a good voice too

Spegetti Western - takes a bit to get going but it gets there. It ain't no john the fisherman, but that's fine. The beginning passage Claypool does is fun.

Night School - pretty neat stuff, it's vaguely mario-ish to me which is probably weird to say but for some reason it just reminds me of that. More like later mario, up to even some Odyssey stuff. I dunno. But it's a good comparison.

Blush - very chill, I could almost picture it being in a classic romance-noir movie.

Everytime - another cool chill track, easy listening

White Trash - it's fine, the vocal delivery is good. Especially during the chorus. Rest of the song is pretty standard fare.

The Haunting - I've been a fan of set it off for awhile now, since around the time this album came out in 2014. There's just something really fun and satisfying about how theatrical and campy the singer is combined with the pop-punk-ness of the music. I will say that the lyrics to a handful of their songs are quite spiteful and problematic, and this one veers the edge of that too. But gosh dang if it still isn't fun to sing along with.

Welcome to Earth (Pollywog) - Sturgill is fascinating. He takes country and spices it up, adding soul and rock to it. Quite brilliant. I was introduced to him from his cover of In Bloom which I thought was fantastic too. Good shit.

Halfway There - ah, classic rise against. This is the album they really took off, followed by the next one. Just a great great album. So invigorating.

We were having a discussion in Discord and it turned to KH and edgy characters, and how I usually like edgelord characters but not all of them. They have to have a certain je ne sais pas quality to them. So that got me thinking, which ones would make the top? Well here we go.

basically nominate characters from anything that you consider to be dark edgelords or just over the top in cliche coolness. Designs will be the first foremost thing taken into account while ranking, but stories and details about them will also factor in. Basically the winner will be a character that has the RIGHT amount of edgelord while still being a character I like for whatever reason. But feel free to go crazy with the edge, I'm looking forward to how ridiculous we can get. Nominations can be from anything, from video games to movies to comics to anime and whatever else.

Let's say 2 nominations per user for now and we'll see where we end up. Not sure how many I wanna take. We'll go until it seems noms have dried up and/or I'm comfortable with the amount. I think that's all there is to say, so let's go
