no, Im highlighting how easily abusable the feature is and why the mods were idiots enough to make it a feature

If locking online play behind a paywall with irrelevant games is a service then bricking your phone and not removing the brick without a fee is also a service.

maybe its because the block feature is terrible and only encourages defamation of other users

bruh

also are u the guy who gets really mad if someone gives money to a homeless person who will just buy booze

or am i thinking of that vegan guy

I dont exactly have an issue with homeless people buying booze or cigarettes, the issue was them making false pretenses as to what they are using the money for or them exploiting other peoples kindness and generosity for their own benefit, especially by falsely claiming to be homeless

The solution to all these problems is to block yourself before everyone else can.

how do you block yourself?

My real name was apparently leaked somehow and the guy got into my account and tried to log into it. He sent me a fb dm asking me why would you block me on gamefaqs? I hope you get killed by your family.

I suggest that everyone block this guy on gamefaqs. Perhaps we should ban him as well.

at banning trolls

imagine if Discord or Youtube prevented you from seeing the posts of the person you blocked and vice versa. Both sites would be a hot mess to use because you cant see posts that could be important for context.

you can browse public boards here as a guest where you are immune to blocking. So whats the point of making an account?

Especially if YouTube and Discord dont have a block users from seeing your posts/videos option?

Is it because the mods and admins are trash here enough that they must block users from viewing their posts, while there are better mods on Discord and YouTube?

People are abusing the close account feature to clear their block lists which means that gamefaqs should just remove it entirely because dumb mods must now waste EVEN MORE TIME dealing with this

Is it because the staff on both sites are smarter than gamefaqs mods and admins, which is why people on reddit complain about gamefaqs admins and mods frequently but you barely see any complaints about discord or youtube moderators and admins?
