Authoritarian governments have literally zero issue with using military force to achieve their goals so it stands to reason that liberal democracies should have an even greater military capability to establish a deterrent against such aggression.

So youre saying the US military is concerned with self preservation and not with fighting fascism.

The very concept that our military exists to stop fascists is laughable. Our military props up regimes based on their willingness to cooperate with American interests, not based on their governmental structure.

The US wouldn't have even fought WWII if we hadn't been attacked by Japan. The ideological differences between our country's leaders and Nazi Germany are probably severely overstated.
