They should have just changed Minsc to a barbarian. The only reason he was a ranger in the original games was because Barbarian didn't exist as its own class in 2e. I don't remember if the barbarian fight kit even existed when BG1 came out. But in 5e he really doesn't fit as a ranger at all.

But then weird internet-addicted teenagers hear the euphenisms used so much that they start using them in completely unrelated contexts where there's no risk of censorship, like twitter or reddit.
