Given your black and white view of things, I assume you're studying to be an engineer? Please explain the ambiguousness of the question. As it is stated, there is exactly 1 possible answer. Don't confuse the lack of people understanding the question with the question being ambiguous. And you are right, I have studied to become an engineer, but that is irrelevant since this is actually high school level math. |

If OP actually meant -4 sq, he should have written (-4)^2. If you actually know math, there is absolute NOTHING ambiguous about it and there is only 1 way to answer the equation. |
