| AsucaHayashi 12/16/17 1:55:26 PM #7 | i think the main problem is that it wasn't consistent. it's been a while since i watched it so can't remember details but i remember that in place of a movie that grabs you from beginning to end, you get a movie with very interesting highs coupled with not-so-interesting lows(on a related note this is the same problem i have with dunkirk and both are incidentally relatively short movies). some might look at this as the movie "taking its time" but again, if any viewer is bored during these moments then it pretty much failed at taking its time. there are more than enough fast/loud movies out there that do slow pacing/establishing shots/building tension well but drive isn't one of them. imo --- |

| AsucaHayashi 12/15/17 1:17:15 AM #6 | depending on preferences the majority of stuff you see on free sites is stuff just taken from paid sites and as such the paid sites usually have much more of it. interestingly enough there's some stuff that used to be pretty mainstream that from my limited extensive knowledge of pron, can now only be found on pay per view sites(or if you're lucky enough, find somebody who keeps an archive and is actively sharing it). streaming sites in general are pretty bad since they're actively monitored and videos are removed on a daily basis. the only stuff that comes close to paid site content-wise, is torrents and even those have a bunch of major holes. --- |

| AsucaHayashi 12/10/17 11:36:20 PM #26 | i honestly hate the way the (mostly console)gaming industry treats its costumers. teaser of a trailer that leads into a pure cinematic CGI trailer that leads into a CGI-driven "gameplay" trailer that leads into a 100% scripted gameplay trailer that FINALLY leads into an end-user experience driven gameplay trailer. the first movie trailer for something like avengers infinity war gave a close to 100% representation of what the final product and experience will be like. with (mostly on console)game trailers you get piece meal information and have to piece together bit by bit what the fuck you'll actually be buying come release day. --- |
