It probably will. MK8 Deluxe wasn't the next Mario Kart game. It was very obviously a port done to prop up the Switch's library early on without requiring too much effort, giving people an incentive to buy the Switch who had skipped the WiiU.

Doom's multiplayer is garbage, but the single player experience is amazing. That was also the last game I bought, it was for PC. As an adult I don't have much time for video games, to be honest.
