Yes, a french press will usually have more body than a traditional drip brewer. A french press should use a bit courser grind that you will allow the ground sit immersed in the hot water for a longer extraction time. You have more control over the temperature and how long you allow the grounds to be immersed.

I wouldn't say it is more work, grind beans, pour them in the press pour in hot water, wait then press. It is very simple really. If you don't use quality coffee or a good grind, or a proper water temp or let it brew long enough you may not like it. Generally though you can get a better cup of coffee from a french press than a traditional drip brewer, outside of maybe some high end drip brewers like a moccamaster. Most drip brewers have poor temperature control and extraction.

I guess I am a coffee nerd. I do a pour over every day (with the occasional french press press) either in a v60 or a kalita wave. I have a new pour over dripper coming today. I generally buy high end 3rd wave beans. It is a bit on the costly side, but I enjoy it and can afford it.

I felt like complete ass the day after I got number 2. Fever and crazy chills that kind of came and went, glad I was proactive and took the day off, but was actually hoping I would be fine and play video games all day. Was pretty fatigued the next couple days after that. My wife had very minor side effects, so it definitely varies.

It was pretty bad, but it had its moments. I always thought it was silly that it was criticized for the alien angle, like they forgot all the other movies had supernatural stuff happen, aliens is probably more realistic.

Do you have to wait 15 minutes in the parking lot or something?

I did mine at the motor speedway in Texas, they make you wait 15 minutes after the shot to make sure you have no adverse reactions, they just put you in a line of cars and let each line of cars go after the 15 minutes. It is a really smooth process, but kind of weird in a way. I get #2 on Thursday.

Not really unless think you are going to play the NES/SNES games a lot, but as others said it is $20 a year, so it is not like a big investment or anything.

I can't say definitively, because that would never be something I would of done, but my theory would be that they may get more reaction or conversation going by starting with something kind of insulting then just saying they think the lady is very attractive or something along those lines that they think she hears all the time. Either that, or they are just very jaded people who don't like women, which there are plenty of those out there I am sure, especially single men.

Maybe it gets them more attention then being nice or using flattery.
