Allegedly there was an episode where the 2nd(?) Yellow Ranger accidentally flashed her panties and they were the same color yellow as the costume. At some point the actress was asked about this scene and she said it definitely wasn't planned.

I'm creeped out by both, actually.

Damn I got the front desk shift at work tomorrow morning so I won't be able to watch it on the sly. Shame.

I was very surprised to find that Donnie Darko wasn't just a random turn-of-the-century emo vibes movie but actually a batshit time travel dimensional mindfuck thing.
Granted, I wouldn't have known that without my brother becoming obsessed with it.

I don't actually know what you mean because I haven't seen those videos but I do believe the AAA industry is creatively bankrupt and I also believe there's a sizeable amount of people who are victims of the whole dopamine thing that video games sometimes prey on.
All things in moderation.

I'm kinda thankful to be back on the grind even though it kills my afternoons. Honestly, staying busy at work helps and it keeps me out of trouble. I guess that's a boomer-ism or whatever, but it's true for people like me.

I liked all three movies in that series though the 2nd one was kind of a misstep. They tried so hard to pretend that the bad guy wasn't Kahn.

That's not exactly what happens, though.

He's coincidentally in the exact right place in all of infinite space to reach the Decepticons that get dumped before they die. He basically takes the opportunity to send them as minions to go kill the current Autobot leader and destroy the Matrix. If he hadn't picked the most treacherous robots in the universe to send it would have worked. Even if they failed, there shouldn't have been a trail back to him to make problems for him.

He doesn't start threatening Cybertron until Galvatron starts rebelling, and it's a sort of "Do what you're told or I'mma eat your planet."

Then Galvatron betrays him, and brings the Matrix back to him. Knowing that Galvatron can't use it, he basically decides to punish him by eating his planet.

The only dumb part is deliberately eating literally the only thing that can kill you, but it wasn't an immediate threat at that point. It only becomes one because the destined Autobot leader just happens to show up in a ship that they crash into his eye. Which gives them the opportunity and motivation to find and use the Matrix in time.

If pretty much anything happened differently in the movie, the good guys lose. If the one group doesn't find the Junkions and save Ultra Magnus, they lose. If the other group gets killed by the Quintessons (or just take too long to escape), they lose. If Hot Rod gets killed by Unicron's internal defenses, gets killed by Galvatron, or just gets lost inside of Unicron/doesn't meet Galvatron, they lose. If Galvatron behaves, they lose. If Unicron just happens to go a different way on his travels, he misses the Decepticons, never sends them, and the good guys never have a chance to stop him. And so on.

It basically takes a ridiculous chain of unlikely events strung together to set up the exact scenario that defeats him.

You're not wrong but he technically alerted the Autobots as soon as he started eating the Cybertron moons. Maybe he legitimately didn't know they were Autobot bases?

It's basically not worth interacting with modern games because expectations will never be met. This is why I moved to live service games. Expectations will never be met, but at least I am addicted.

That's certainly one way to look at things...

I'm going to meet them at a sports bar in the next 10 minutes.
We don't share a lot of interests though, I think the group just kinda clings together because we got no one else.

August was the busiest month of the year for my employer and today it just kinda hit me on my way out so I stopped at the liquor store and immediately opened that shit when I got home.
