You guys know a lot of this is clinical depression, right? If you aren't seeing a therapist/psychiatrist I really urge you to seek one out. It's a slow climb getting a handle on depression, but it can be done.

Depression is something you still have to live with even if you go the treatment route. Whether it's pills or therapy, not all your symptoms are just going to disappear.

Usually happens to me when I get frustrated at work, thinking about how much bullshit I'm putting upon myself to get responsibility that I don't really want and money that I don't specifically need.
Makes me wonder about taking a different position, something nightshift, where I don't have to deal with people at all.
