Any time this Supreme Court makes a good ruling, I assume it's to soften the blow of a REALLY BAD ruling they are about to make. What else is coming up this session?

Hate to break this to you, but they don't butcher cows or chickens at your local McDonald's either. Everything comes to them frozen.

My brother-in-law did this and I was furious. His dog was old, and started having serious health issues. The vet told him that the dog would pass any day. Instead of staying with the dog, my brother in law boarded him and went out of town for the weekend. The dog died in a kennel, probably alone or surrounded by people and other dogs he didn't know. I'm sure his last thoughts were that his owner abandoned him.

Ok, lets just focus on the original trilogy and nothing else... The Empire develops a planet destroying weapon, then uses it on an Imperial planet, killing billions of Imperial citizens. Men, women, children, and presumably, a bunch of space dogs and cats. That's pretty evil.

If the US President nukes an entire State because he's having a bad day, we will probably have some rebels. Well... depending on the State I guess. Maybe Alderaan was space Florida?

You just never see the empire being dickish to imperial citizens. It seems the rebels hate the empire because they are rebels and rebels are supposed to rebel against something.
But perhaps I'm taking a kids movie about space wizards too seriously.

Trump has a fanatical following, but he comes with a lot of baggage that will be challenging (but not impossible) to overcome. DeSantis has relatively little baggage, and a better chance of retaking the White House.

The problem is, DeSantis cannot overcome Trump in the primaries. I'm sure he and his team know this. He's gambling right now. He's hoping something takes Trump out of the race. Maybe Trump goes to prison. Maybe Trump eats one too many cheeseburgers. Whatever. If Trump is out, DeSantis is the nominee, and Republicans have a better chance at winning.

Republicans also want to retake the Senate in 24. Having Trump on the ballot will make that more difficult because the threat of another Trump presidency will bring out democrats.

While they'd never say it publicly, a lot of Republicans are happy about these indictments, and none are happier than Ron DeSantis.

Poll after poll show DeSantis is stronger against Biden than Trump.

As much as I want to see this fucker get what he deserves, all these indictments do is bring us 1 step closer to President DeSantis.

I'm wondering why only the left-leaning forums are being closed.

They are left when compared to the other option.

And after Elon moved himself and his company to Texas. One day he'll realize the people he panders to politically and on Twitter are not the people buying his cars.

Certainly moreso than his predecessor.
