| Akagami_Shanks 01/21/18 12:26:39 PM #17 | first, it's Sunday, nobody gets paid in their BANK account on a Sunday, second, these changes went out on the 9th. If your pay period started January 5th, you would already be in the middle of the cycle by the time they sent it out, meaning it would take effect next pay at earlier. If your pay period started on the 12th, you wouldn't be paid until the 25/26th. If you get paid weekly, then there would absolutely be no way you just now received your tax cuts considering it's done a week or two in advance and not the same week. At minimum you would get it this week and thats IF your payroll company updated as soon as possible. TL;DR TC is lying --- |

Paid leave is still getting a paycheck every two weeks, furlough is being out of a job indefinitely and maybe getting backpay a while later. I'm sure these employees will appreciate being out of work indefinitely and no pay, so they will be unable to pay their rent or make ends meet. Maybe you should have thought about that before you made this dumb topic, but obviously critical thinking isn't your strong suit. --- |
