I'm not saying that all critics are pure, that none of them are biased, that there aren't movies that get shat on because they were judged on something that they weren't trying to be. But people need to judge for themselves when a critic score matters and when it doesn't.

For example, if you're thinking of renting Freddy Got Fingered after reading what it's about and who was involved in it, and then its 11% on RT makes you change your mind (frankly I was surprised it was that high, I thought it was even lower than that), you're a dope.

I honestly can't imagine Pirates 5 being the kind of movie that is going to be hurt significantly by a low critical score. Like, I just can't imagine anyone who genuinely wanted to go see that movie look at the RT score and say "Oh, never mind." Baywatch maybe I can see that happening with. Like, "oh what are my choices for comedies tonight. Baywatch? Nah that got a low score, let's see what else there is." But for something established like Pirates either you want to see that or you don't.

These rounds really were WAY too close together tonight. Completing two rounds from the start of one to the end of the other in just over 5 hours is not the norm and I got hit HARD just for having work tonight, missing most of not just one but two rounds. It was me tonight but it could have been anyone at any time who works. I feel like there ought to be some sort of standard buffer between rounds (eg at least two hours from the end of a round).

Damn, a lot of interesting stuff here. Aladdin ties Phantom for second-biggest response to this series yet (23 each; Beauty and the Beast still leads by far with 29, but I'd say if anything can knock it off its spot it's today's). A Whole New World now holds the record for the most votes received by a single song in this series, previously held by Music of the Night and Cell Block Tango, with 10 votes each. And poor Prince Ali, getting but just one measly vote. It's always done very well in Disney song contests on here. I guess AWNW and FLM are just way too strong.

I'd put 9 and 13 on there instead of 27 and 29, but those two are niche favorites for me, I know a lot of people don't like them.

Russell's composure deteriorating over the course of the HvV reunion

Not really awkward but one of my favorite tiny/overlooked moments in a reunion is in HvV, when Russell says that America should decide the winner, behind Sandra and Russell bantering, as soon as that idea is proposed you can very, very faintly in the background hear Tyson say "Well then I would've won."

I mean if we were going with older actors for the kids like we did with South Park I'd say Williams would be perfect but looking at the rest of the list it's clear we're casting at-age with this one, in which case she's about 10 years past that (she looks a little younger than she really is so at 18 she probably could have played a 13 year old).
