you guys are over-analyzing this shit WAY too much. It's fantasy, it's not a representation of real life or how the author thinks in real life.

How many movies do you enjoy that involve murder and killing such as horror/survival movies? It doesn't mean the directors/writers are pro-murder and think it's OK to kill people.

This is coming from a non-fan someone that hasn't even read the books and thought the first two movies sucked, by the way. No bias.

The sad thing is that if the author had different political views you guys wouldn't even be batting an eye. There's where the problem lies: You having double standards. Period. Stop and just enjoy the series or hate it for what it is, not what you're trying to make it to be.
