There's dozens if not hundreds of unique game modes. Updates happen weekly. And free roam. I think Rockstar gets hate for all the wrong reasons. They're probably the only company out there that has a half decent microtransaction system (yeah, shits overpriced, shit also goes on sale all the time and you can actually choose what you want instead of random chance) Everyone always complains about that shit, but never seem to complain that GTA Online is still a complete shit show when it comes to connections, load times, small bugs, recycled content and worst of all the matchmaking.
