"Don't like" is an overly strong description that's not entirely accurate, but every time that I've tried replaying that game in the post-N64 era, I've had great difficulty controlling it or being even close to as good as I was when it was modern. And being unable to functionally play a game that you (mentally) still like certainly makes it harder to enjoy the game!

You pretty much nailed the reason why I nominated this game. You said in your original post that you liked chiptunes, which more often than not invokes thoughts of older games. So I picked a rare example of modern chiptunes, and one that doesn't sound as "fake" as a lot of retro-imitation games.

What does this have to do with being "outdated" when this issue only exists on the newer posting engine that was added like a year ago, and the classic version (which is still available as a site setting) doesn't have this problem?

This is like the third time in a few months that I've been reminded "oh yeah, they didn't cancel it, they just changed it and moved it".

I vouch for Kirby & The Amazing Mirror 100% - the game has been run in marathons before but strangely only any% every time. 100% shows off the full map and the cool routing that goes into collecting everything from the entire labyrinth of an overworld.

Also noteworthy is that Virtual Boy Wario Land will be the first time that a VB game was in a GDQ (the runner has a capture modded console).

Well this one sucks. I said in a previous match that it was my 2 favorite songs left, but I think now this is my 2 favorites. Isoleucine has grown on me a lot in the past 1 or 2 matches (I don't know what round number we're in anymore) and I think I like it more than the Credits song at this point. But do I like it more than Geofront, my previous #1 from last round? ...Maybe, actually. It gets me pumped up listening to it, especially when all that buildup finally releases at 3:15 and it goes all out. Geofront has a really unique and interesting sound, it's "weird" sounding without sounding weird. Lots of layers and different things going on but they all fit together. It kind of reminds me of that Kaiba song from round 1 which I said a similar thing about, but Geofront is like an even better version of that. Really all that I can do is vote based on my current feeling on this day (I've listened to both songs multiple times since this topic went up last night). So, against my expectations, I never would have seen this coming, but I am voting for:

Of course even if Geofront wins I'm still 100% supporting it through the finals.

Who, looking it up, was in fact Soap MacTavish. (I also didn't realize/remember that there were 3 CoD characters in 2010, but Soap is the one that I was thinking of)
