We're being told to return to work, no one is wearing masks (which I liked), no one is keeping their distance anymore, even businesses are stopping curbside (I enjoyed not having to get out of my vehicle). Family and friends are no longer satisfied by zoom. What happened to movies being released on HBO Max?

I thought there was going to be a new normal that everyone talked about, but it seems we're we're going right back to pre-pandemic life.

Holiday Tipping
For the service providers you go to regularly, it's nice to give them a holiday tip on top of the normal tipping obligations. The following amounts are just a guideline for holiday tips. If your finances are tight, you might want to consider a small gift and a handwritten thank you note instead of cash. It really is about saying thank you, after all

14. Au Pair or Live-In Nanny
Options: Cash or consider a gift. This person works closely with your family and you probably know them well.
Suggested Amount or Gift: Up to one week's pay and a gift from your child(ren)

Five percent of the U.S. population is 16 million people. And people can't be bothered dealing with basic restrictions to help slow and stop the spread. Basically telling those people to fuck off because people are "tired of covid"

If you have kids under five or are allergic to the vaccine then its up to you to protect yourself. You guys put absolutely no responsibility on the people that were talking about. Im sure its easier to just blame politicians but thats not fair at all.

Its like you wouldnt go into a restaurant having a severe allergy and not take all precautions before ordering. You have to protect yourself in that scenario.
So you want to essentially cut out a portion of the population from society because you're "done with covid" and aren't willing to do basic things to reduce the transmission like wearing a mask, ventilation, occupancy limits, etc. Doesn't seem like that much of a burden to have basic restrictions.

Vaccines are a tool best used in combination with other measures.

Five percent is 16 million people. And when can we talk about kids under five who can't get vaccinated? I guess we throw them under the bus because "people are tired of "covid"

If Im working an eight hour shift, then I want eight hours of pay. Or I want the option to not take the break. Many places wont let you choose to not take the break because it is thirty minutes per day they can not pay each worker.
An "eight hour shift" doesn't include lunch. Meaning you'll be "at work" for 8 1/2 hours with the 30 minutes unpaid.
