It's not even about the illusion of choice, it's about other games in the series having differentiated gameplay and having character interactions and minigames and all kinds of shit. FF13 has walking forward and fighting battles, and like twice in the game, has minigames that facilitates walking forward.All the harping on "linearity" just causes critics and fans to talk past each other and gets in the way of real discussion about the game. philsov posted...
