I'm a shift manager and, knowing how incredibly frustrating the job is(for a minimum wage position), I try my hardest to make sure the work environment is as chill and relaxed as possible. Pretty much this. You have to take into account your experiences as a non-manager, but if you're not firm where you need to be, they'll take advantage of it.
