There are a lot of old and very fat people in the United States. The country has a major weight problem. 70% of the population is overweight or obese.

Take a look at the leading causes of death for people with a healthy BMI or younger than 70 and I bet COVID isnt even in the top 10.

Im not spouting propaganda from any political side. I evaluate all information from a neutral perspective instead of just parroting whatever nonsense my team is spouting. I dont like how Americans seem to think that politics is a sports game.

Im fully vaccinated. I even got a booster dose. Im supportive of most people getting the COVID vaccine. I just disagree with making it mandatory and I dont think people should worry about wearing masks forever, because Ive accepted that this is an endemic virus that is never being eradicated. Did I just make your brain explode?

If the politicians really cared about your health they would have told you to spend the last 18 months dropping some pounds instead of virtue signaling with a face mask. But of course they would never address the elephant in the room, Americas weight problem, because that would be politically untenable.

And thats before vaccines were available. Imagine how low the mortality rate is now for people who have a healthy BMI and have received vaccination. There is no reason why these responsible citizens should be forced to suffer under a mask forever.

In the United States, the "pandemic" is literally over for anyone who wants it to be. COVID-19 is a nothingburger in children and at least in males the vaccine is probably more dangerous than them getting COVID. For adults the vaccine has been easily attainable by anyone who wants to walk into Walmart or any other place with a pharmacy since April. And even lying to the pharmacist to get a 3rd "booster" dose for the paranoid who don't feel like they have enough immunity from two doses is a cake walk. They don't check if you're really "immunocompromised" and the U.S. has no unified database so it's very easy to give a fake name to the pharmacist or go into another state and get a "first dose." They'll probably officially allow booster doses for anyone who wants them in the next few months anyway.

The mask hygiene theater is just pants-on-head stupid and I refuse to participate in that game anymore. I will continue to ignore any stupid government officials or hypochondriac civilians who tell me to "mask up to save grandma!!!"

This virus is now endemic and it is never, ever going away. Learn to live with it just like you learned to live with influenza and the common cold or the rest of your life is going to be a personal mental hell of your own creation. I've received three doses of the mRNA vaccines and I'm officially done with getting more COVID vaccines for at least a year, maybe longer. I'll consider taking the COVID vaccine annually alongside the influenza vaccine that I already have been getting annually for the past decade, but we'll just have to see what they've come up with by fall 2022.

COVID just really is not something that people younger than 70, people who weigh less than 300 lbs, minors, and the double and/or tripled dose vaccinated should be worrying about.

More minors died from swine flu and the 2018-19 flu season than have died from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. More kids die in traffic accidents every year.

Numerous countries have rejected giving COVID vaccines to minors 12 and under because they are at such little risk from COVID that the risk of developing myocarditis from the vaccine is higher than just letting them get a COVID infection.

Imagine being vaccinated and still being so afraid of an endemic virus with a 99% survival rate for the unvaccinated and a 99.99% survival rate for the vaccinated that you plan to wear a security blanket on your face everywhere you go for the rest of your life

I dont know about all that but Im a woman who wont wear masks because Im not delusional.
