You have someone like Deathstroke or Croc to have the action, but Riddler's the mastermind behind everything. He only communicates through messages and loudspeakers, that kind of thing. Batman eventually figures out he's apparently named Edward Nygma, but the movie implies that even that is an alias. Batman beats him, of course, but never actually finds the actual Riddler. I would have much preferred this instead of that awful Bane. |
