I actually feel better in the winter. I hate summer and the heat. I enjoy being out more in the winter, going on walks, sitting by a fire, camping or even stargazing.

You must have some mild winters where you live if you can do those things lol

Once we get over this hump, people will get adjusted to the new normal. Then things will get worse again, with another adjustment period, and so on and so forth.

Just look at a place like India. Conditions for commoners are so much worse but their society remains relatively stable. Just goes to show the kind of lifestyle people can eventually be conditioned for.

This is a really depressing post, mainly for the fact that I can see that being 100% true

People working for pennies while inflation runs rampant, steadily priced out of the stock market, and racking up large amounts of debt just to be able to live.

Generic ass post I know but it truly feels like this time I can see the other shoe getting ready to drop in the distance

The cost of everything continues to go up, wages stay the same. You can only let the debt stack up for so long before it all comes crashing down. Where is the housing? Where is the medical coverage?

True. Myself included perhaps since I have no retirement plan. But frankly I'd be more surprised to even get past 30 or 40 years old.

Why not? Health issues?

Sad to say most people aren't putting enough away for retirement. If this topic goes the way I think it will most people who have nothing won't post out of shame and instead this topic will be filled with the jackoffs flaunting what they have.

I remember even back when Bernie and Hillary were battling in 2014-2015 we had so many people assuming that their student loans would get waived so they stopped paying them.

Now it's half a decade later and their loans aren't going anywhere while the interest continue to pile up without receiving payments.

Do you feel bad for these people? Or do you feel they got what they deserve?
