You got food poisoning?
It's the only thing that makes sense, problem is that the only thing I ate that no one else ate was oatmeal and you don't really get food poisoning from that (no one else I've eaten with is sick)

Your topic is bad and you should feel bad
Wtf? I'm genuinely curious about this. A lot of people who are conservative will try to deflect when conversations about white privilege and reparations are brought up and I want to know how full of shit they are.

It seems like when slavery in the US is brought up some people like to deflect that slavery has been practiced throughout history and cultures and that it's not uniquely an American experience. But then some other people will say that the absolute barbarity of slavery in the US was not seen in other places.
So what is it?
