All this talk of Star Trek makes me want to reread the Kahn trilogy and Sarek.

I had that. And most of the figure. (Including the TMNT crossover set.)

So where's my backward compatible MechAssault & Star Gladiator?

A character born in the Holiday Special, and whose claim to fame was being beaten with a stick by a blind man and falling in a hole.

They were big budget TV episodes. Not unwatchable, not spectacular.

When you throw a party for kids and you need a lot of food for cheap, they cannot be beat.

For 50 bucks you can get 5 large pizza, 5 orders of bread sticks and 5 bottles of pop (soda if youre nasty). More then enough to feed 10 kids and adults and give them some nums to take home with them.

I cant think of another pizza place that can manage that. Even if you make it yourself, i doubt you would save much for the same amount of product, plus the prep time.

You don't know how to shop sales. 5 pizzas, $15 for store brands or lower end. breadsticks 3 boxes of generic, $6. 5x2 liters, should be less than $10. Pizza dipping sauce or marinara, less than $2

So $30ish dollars. Problem is having to cook 5 at once. I have a large toaster oven, so between that and regular oven, I could do it, but would have to swap racks part of the way through. (Breadsticks take all of 5 minutes, so can be done after, or wrapped in foil and tossed in on the sides).

Not to be nave to these situations, but why isn't it protocol to tranquilize the animal instead of using bullets?

1) Zoo was closed. The tiger's handler, vet, the lead darter, and sharpshooter all had gone home for the night.

2) They probably would have elected to shoot anyway. The policy is always to put human lives first, even potential Darwin Award winners.

3) Most big cats (in fact most large predators) become nearly impossible to handle once they take a bite of human, as from then on. see humans as prey.
