Sometimes characters speak lower than the other characters so I need it. I hate having to go back just to listen to what was said again. Especially when characters do that whispering shit to sound menacing/embarassed. Otherwise im ok without it.

The big problem with MK '21 was the OC protagonist.

Just make Johnny Cage half-Japanese if that's the guy you wanna cast. It's not the end of the world.

Also this, we had a certified dumbass/outsider in lore to explain mortal kombat. Leaving him out for an OC was dumb.

The 2021 movie wasn't that bad really, was it the greatest? No, but it was better than 99% of movies based on videogames. Expanding the lore isn't a bad thing really.

It wasnt a bad movie from an outside perspective imo. Some funny kano scenes and somewhat decent fights, but *2021 spoilers killing off a lot of villains and characters that early into a proposed series and going straight to the revenant story line without quan chi is dumb. Also still dont like the arcana thing cuz it limits people powers .

Yeah I did enjoy that movie at the time it came out. Watching the 2021 movie was weird and disappointing as an mk fan.

With the whole "arcana" being the reason for their powers instead of it just being they either trained for or the tech being that advanced. jax's arcana power being his metal arms gain super strength was probably the dumbest thing in the movie besides kano and his eggroll for powers.

There's always gotta be a real world tie in as if that makes the game's story more relatable. Monster hunter movie is one example of this where, where they're just normal humans sucked into the monster hunter world. Or sonic being the opposite where the character is sucked into the real world. Or someone completely original to the film just to explain the lore to us.

i get they wanna respect chadwick, but it seems very dumb they just wont recast t'challa. I felt like his story wasn't done in the MCU, yet they just want to abruptly end his story. On a lesser scale, this happened with Batwoman on CW where they just replaced Kate Kane and said fuck the story.

Plot has a lot of questions that have no answers in the end, loot is pretty dumb and you'll end up using the same guns anyway. Multiplayer is extremely laggy due to it being peer to peer. Not a diverse enough power set after coming off of Dishonored 2, also being locked to only 2 powers at any time is annoying. It's basically dishonored light. But I still enjoyed the game and recommend it, just get it cheaper.
