The roads were horrible, and I was going like 30mph the entire way (there werent many cars on the road, but very few were passing). At one point, that very thing happened to me. A plow from the opposite side just launched an absolute wall of snow/ice/slush across the barriers and right onto my windshield, burying me in snow. It has vocals, but I think its so damn catch. Why go through a brutal 152 game season if you still get a bunch of .500 scrub teams getting in and maybe getting a lucky streak at the right time? The playoffs are supposed to be for the best teams. I hate expanded playoff opportunities in MLB. With most sports, its a shock when a last place team beats a first place team, but in baseball, the worst team can take 2 outta 3 or even sweep a 3 game series against the best team, and it isnt a shock. Its just in the nature of the game. The full season grind is a big part of determining baseball rankings, and short series can very much be a coin flip. By adding more teams to the playoffs, you arent necessarily weeding out the lesser teams as the playoffs progress youre just adding more coin flips. --- Live action Hungry Hungry Hippos though, now that was a sport. ~Aeon Azuran |
