No, but it had potential. My main issue is that you can do absolutely nothing when your opponent has the ball. 3 - What's worse? Chocobo Racing or Lightning Dodging? I had little problem with both of them. BDSP is basically a bonus because they knew lots of people wanted DP back and I'm happy they made someone do it, even if there'll be less new content in them. "Being generous" just meant that the story managed to outshine some of its flaws with its highlights in a way that made me not care about said flaws even though I recognize them. LeonhartFour posted... I mean yeah but they can do it this way because it's about Nintendo characters you already love Also this. For most part I feel like that has lead to fun discussions, but I see where people are coming from. Some parts are overexplained while others are honestly the opposite because nanomachines isn't really much of an explanation. However, the game wrapped up everything it wanted to for basically every character in the franchise and our initial reaction was only loving it and I've got to give it full credit for that. The highs clearly overshadowed the flaws when it mattered the most. I replayed it as late as early this year and I still enjoyed it a whole lot! It's pretty clear that GameFreak was more reserved about the dragon type early on. Zubat/Golbat has indeed had that unique type combination always (Crobat obviously not counting as something new here). In fact, every unique type combination from gen 1 that is still unique is part posion. Ghost/Poison and Posion/Ground (if you count Nidoking and Nidoqueen as kinda the same line) are the others. Jynx was also unique until gen 8 though, while everything else stopped being unique from gen 5 rolled out or earlier. Its true that a bunch of Pokemon could've had three types and it seems random which one is omitted. I know gen 6 did that but it had never been done before, they clearly changed stance on changing types. XIII_rocks posted... Zacian is fairy because it's "graceful" compared to Zamazenta which is an aggressive fighter Haha, given that you have them mixed up, I'd like to rest my case. -hotdogturtle-- posted... The Pokemon made of copper (and named after it) which evolves into a larger copper one (which is also named after it) shouldn't be Steel type? Sure, but we were talking about just design. Dragon in particular tends to be a bit random. Ponyta being psychic before fairy. And that normal type is not at all the most normal anyone. Basically confirmed now that platinum Pokmon are in the game one way or another, which should have been expected by everyone, but people trusted Game Freak too little and decided faithful remake had to be a bad thing. Lots of nice features introduced. I do like that since it seems Game Freak had different priorities than making the remake, they still made sure someone made it for us in a good way. Arceus looked a lot less empty today than last time, also giving a much better impression of what to expect.
