I don't need to take all that time searching for it on gamefaqs when I can just ask a specific question on google and get results instantly. I'm sure kids do the same. If gamefaqs wants to compete, they'll need to get rid of FAQS and get wiki-style webpages. Those show up on searches better. A game needs to have only one guide/wiki page. If you have a multitude of guides, it just makes things more complicated. On that subject matter, guides are kind of useless these days. Most games you can get through without a guide. What people want these days is information about particular things. |
