It says that they sold "illegal hacking devices", which I'll admit that I misread as "hacked devices" when I saw the article yesterday. But in the end, isn't it essentially the same anyway? Whether they sold software to assist with hacking, hardware to assist with hacking, or pre-hacked systems, they're still profiting from programs that other hackers released for free, which is extremely scummy even if you're pro-hacking. They're the type of people that those disclaimers are written about.

Holy shit I actually got my Stylus CSSes back by copying the old extension folders into the new storage folder! Need to back these up like a dozen times now. I was about to retire from this site if I couldn't get it looking normal again.

No luck on Greasemonkey scripts with the same method, but all things considered, those are more easily replaceable if I remember what I had. Some of my CSS was custom that I'd never be able to replicate.

Well... I don't have a Firefox account. But I tried going to the page for it just out of curiosity to see how it might have possibly helped me, and it gave me an error about local storage not being enabled. That gave me enough of a hint to Google that error, and I ended up finding a thing saying to rename your local storage folder so Firefox can regenerate a fresh one. I did that, and my extensions instantly started working again. So that suggestion ended up mostly saving me after all.

However, while the extensions now function properly, they didn't bring back the stuff that was saved in separate files (like the Greasemonkey scripts). But now that I know which folder was causing the issue and still have it backed up, I'll try poking around in there to see if I can locate the scripts. Thanks for the tips.

What happened is, after a particularly bad crash, all of my addons died. They still show as being installed, but they don't work, they don't have any of their previous settings saved, and reinstalling them doesn't fix them. I had this issue once before, and I was scrambling for answers until I found that restarting my whole computer fixed it. This time it didn't. The most crucial things lost are my Greasemonkey scripts and my Stylus CSS, which are both stored somewhere in the data of their respective addons. Please assist.

This is one of the albums commonly cited as Iron Maiden's #1. And personally I'm there with it, it's the one that I've always called my favorite when I'm forced to choose.

Song comments:
Rime of the Ancient Mariner: This song is more than just a poem set to music. It has distinct different sections to match the progression of the story, but notably, each section rocks just as hard as any individual song that Iron Maiden has. It's almost like 2 or 3 songs combined, but they all fit together to complete the story. Very enjoyable experience to listen to despite its length, and it makes the time fly by like nothing.

Aces High: For a long time this song was my favorite. Super high energy, intense, and catchy.

Interesting note: I originally wanted to put Back in the Village above 2 Minutes to Midnight, but I flipped them after my latest listen (the only major change from my "expected" rankings to my final list). This makes my ranking identical to ZeroSignal620's.

This album didn't really show me anything too memorable outside of the one super hit song. But one thing that I did remember, from my first listen into my second, was repetitive lyrics. Several songs end with (what feels like) a straight minute of the same line over and over until they finally let you go.
