I dont even remember what the strategy was for gen 4 (Infinite saving?) but Gen 5 definitely had a no EXP glitch on emulators. Had being the operative word. Hell even Gen 3 had one (Buy this game or die) At this point you could just emulate them on your phone, Google Play Store has several emulators, including Drastic, although it costs some money. Hell theres even a 3ds Emulator out there for phones. Emulators have gotten better and all The last time i remember emulators having any issues with Pokemon games was "No EXP" for Gen 5. Modern Day emulators have no issues.. hell you can even emulate the 3ds titles.. and ON YOUR PHONE too at that. Saying you cant emulate a pokemon game is like saying you cant crack a pc game. Its an arms race, and DRM only gives you time. Story is basically just 2 different interpretations. But both have the same important bits. Version 2 on ps2 w/m does play like chaos theory Just be careful if you get the pc version, runs like crap iirc.
