For some reason most of the third party games didn't sell on it. Even the Xbox, which sold only a few million more units, had significantly greater third party sales. It's why GTA III and Vice City got cancelled on GCN, as Rockstar's Smuggler's Run game on the system sold horribly.

The issue with Scorsese is pretty much the same as the one that occurred with Bill Maher when he brought up comic books: there is a kernel of truth in their criticisms of superhero comic books/superhero movies despite being wrong about a lot of the details. The issue is not the films or comic books, but people's overindulgence on entertainment. These movies, along with superhero comics, are not typically a source of wisdom, they're just something fun to pass the time. Many people just jump from moment to moment of pleasure without actually learning anything or doing anything to improve themselves. Again, there's nothing wrong with entertainment or superheroes, but it's not something to indulge in endlessly without ever cracking open, say, a history book.

Regardless, the best comics tend to be written by people who read other things besides comics; compare Alan Moore or Neil Gaiman's writing to Kevin Smith's.

Absolutely shit taste. The worst orginal Star Wars movie (RoTJ) is probably better than the best MCU. No MCU movie even comes within a league of Empire.

I've been following "Christory" since the ED days. With the exception of BlueSpike (who was a zoomer), the older/Millennial trolls simply wanted to push Chris' buttons and have him throw tantrums in front of his webcam.

The recent trolls were making a conscious effort to destroy his mental health; some of them even plotting to convince him to commit suicide. They coerced him into injuring himself and his mother.

In that regard BlueSpike was a bellwether for what was to come.

I read the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood book, and the idolization of Polanski was super uncomfortable to get through. At least he was barely there in the movie, the book has whole Polanski chapters.

That was likely Tarantino's intent, especially since he publicly stated his regret over being a Polanski defender in the past.

It's because games suck as a narrative medium outside of their ability to allow interaction with the story, an ability which is completely absent from movies. Video game stories are mostly bad, but interaction elevates them.
