Oh this topic gonna touch a few nerves.

The constant arguing about SBMM is so weird to me. In pretty much every other genre of game I've played with a competitive mode the expectation was always that as you got better you would play against people who were more skilled, and that it self was the reward/goal. Like in WoW if complained that as you climbed up in arena and were "punished" for winning because you had to play equally good players, you'd be ridiculed non stop, yet in FPS games many players do seem to think that having to play against players their own skill level is both a "punishment" and unfair.

Imagine if every time Tom Brady made it to the plays offs he bitched endlessly that he had to play against teams with a winning record and instead couldn't keep beating up the jets.

Nah it's like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Each game is a different world and story, usually.

I did not care for it. That said I feel like they should have kept with the direction TLJ set up rather than trying to backtrack with Rise. TLJ broke the eggs so to speak, and I think the third movie should have made the omelet rather than try to put the eggs back together and pretend they were never broken.

I honestly don't remember a thing about the sequels except there was a guy who looked like Colonel Sanders who ran the matrix, and there was like a French and/or Italian lady who had an amazaing rack.

It's one of the rare movies that I feel actually lives up to it's mythic status. I legitimately laugh every time I see it.

Part of me believes they like this because then there are "lessers" they can feel superior over.

Fast food could start paying $25 an hour and instill wouldn't want to do it and that'd be more than I currently make.

I worked fast food for a couple years and this is exactly it. A lot of customers weren't just their for the food but to bully us peons knowing management would always side with them.

It's why I don't think those ordering kiosks will never truly take over, no fun talking shit to a computer.
