except for the part where it hasn't, it constantly adds more to the grind, more materials, more blueprints, more arbitrary repairs. These statements are always made from people that live exclusively in the end game where you are able to automate the mundane out of the game. So you either play sandbox and go oh neat and quit after a few days because it's sandbox. Play normal and go, well this is horribly boring and quit after a few days. Or you convinced yourself it's a better game then it was and keep reusing your save to skip the worst part of a shallow game that things tedium is depth. Crypto has next to nothing to do with the problem, big miners haven't used gpus for mining in a long time.
