I was told that when you go they ask you questions. The trick was to be opinionated and say you have family that have been victims of the same crime you are there for. The lawyers wont pick you because they want to win.

The real trick is to play the God card. Tell them you believe only God has the right to cast judgement on people. They really can't do shit if you say that. I'd have done it but I'm a poor liar.

I had jury duty like 2 months ago. Pain in the ass. Though I was able to get out of it after like an hour. It was a case about gun violence. I said my friend was killed by gun violence(which was true) and there was no way I could give the defendant a fair chance(which was kinda true but mostly an exaggeration) so they let me go.

That's probably because you got lucky and your groups never actually got called in. It sounds easy to just ignore it but they can very easily fine you like $1000 or something. And you'd still have to go into court and deal with that. Not worth the risk imo.

I don't really like Poptarts. Smores ones are good though. Not that I ever really eat them.

The problem with adapting old properties is that you can't have all white casts anymore. It's 2021. White Americans aren't the only people you need to appeal to anymore. Movies have an international audience. And people of color have a lot more capital than they used to and want to see themselves in movies.

Hollywood is just going where the money is.

Then recast everyone to be Chinese. Seriously, if this about money why aren't there any Chinese people in the cast other then Ada? If this was about money they'd make Leon Chinese. The truth is, this isn't about money. It's about woke politics.

I didn't even know this movie was a thing. Claire, Chris and Wesker look fine. Leon though....lol. I'd be lying if I said I was surprised. Can't have an adapation of anything starring white characters without race swaps anymore. Lol @ the director's comments on casting:

It was hugely important with the whole casting process to find people who embodied the spirit and energy of the characters I wanted to portray. I think often in game adaptations one of the big flaws can be just casting someone to look visually like the characters - giving them the identical haircut and clothes but not really trying to give the audience the thing that a movie does better than a game - which is to create a three-dimensional character that you can really connect with and believe in. I think as I said before one of the traps of falling into game adaptations is to make it feel like a giant cosplay version of the game.

Our cast is obviously much more diverse than the original games but I wanted to resist the trap of just casting because someone just happened to look like their character identically. We actually had a lot of actors who came in and recreated themselves perfectly visually as the character they were reading - it was uncanny at times ha! - but it was not what I felt this story needed. With Jill, I knew Hannah from Ready Player One and this show she was in at the time called The Stranger and I just knew shed be perfect. Leon was much harder. We must have seen so many people - it was really quite a tricky role because of the balance of humor and weariness. Then Avan read and I was like hes the one! He gets it.

One of the traps when making a video game movie is that it's too easy to make it look like cosplay huh? Somebody is not very self aware...

The retaliation concern is legit. Some people are nuts and will really overreact even if it's their fault. I think my reaction would depend on where I lived. If I lived in a bad part of town I'd probably just ignore it tbqh. Ain't worth getting shot over. But if it's like a more middle class area? Yeah, I'd probably have it towed.

Chess is one of these things where Im not sure why they have separate divisions for women. Get rid of that to start.

The reality is, the GOAT female chess player peaked at #8 in the world. Now that's certainly impressive and there's probably no man to ever play that she wouldn't be able to beat every now and then but #1 in the world was simply not within her reach. And she was the best female to ever play. For whatever reason, aside from her no woman has ever even really been competitive at that level so having the Women's World Chess Championship makes sense.

To be fair, it's not like male chess pros are nice to other male chess pros. There's a lot of animosity in professional chess in general.

He's an utter disappointment. I didn't particularly care when he became President. Just figured he'd be Obama 2.0. But his continued incompetence has amazed me. He really doesn't even *feel* like a President. He just comes off so weak and inept. It never ceases to amaze me how many people defend him. And they only seemingly do it just to spite Trump and his supporters. That's made obvious by how the left went from from viewing him as a joke(before he was nominated) to some sort of flawless hero(after he was nominated). Oh well whatever.

Trump is a clown but I gotta lol at people that continue to blame him for everything long after he's gone while giving Biden a pass. Literally hundreds of people die and yet certain simps still refuse to criticize Biden. Pathetic.

It's optional. Basically if you get stuck on a boss you can choose to use the cannon to one shot it at the cost of losing a character. But if you do they are dead permanently FE style.

Also part of his abs would be due to taking testosterone as part of his transition. If you take advantage of the increased testosterone you can make excellent gains.

Not unilaterally though. If his gains were from working out his overall figure should be better. It's really to weird to have the abs of prime GSP and then be basically a stick figure in all other areas.
