I'm not sure if it was because I was playing on a keyboard but it was actually really freaking hard and I used save states for my first playthrough. It's a lot easier to get hit and die. But I do remember having the same problems with Squeak Squad (which uses the same engine and which I played on the DS)'s boss battles for ability-less runs. I didn't have issues with Nightmare in Dreamland and Superstar Ultra, both of which I played on the original hardware though. --- Cherish me |
