Our country will never allow it and to do so would set a precedence for other draconian laws---it'll never happen in our lifetime. The ONLY two ways Covid will truly end is everyone getting it and developing natural immunity...or it mutating itself out, which it is possible. We know the vaccines don't 100% stop the spread so the idea that if everyone is vaccinated the virus is beaten is simply a myth. Lucky for us between the vaccines and the doctors actually treating it before people need to go into the ICU (much to the dismay of big pharma) I think we are handling it. This is pivotal as it's the first time a major government spoke optimistically on the subject. Also, the link you're showing references a study posted LAST YEAR and comes to no conclusions other than there is not yet a conclusion so the FDA can't recommend anything other than not taking it. This press conference was in reference to the doctors becoming optimistic in regards to clinical trials (as evidenced here- http://jja-contents.wdc-jp.com/pdf/JJA74/74-1-open/74-1_44-95.pdf) The FDA can't recommend it until it leaves clinical trials, and is recommending you don't self diagnose and administer self treatment. The subject is so complicated we essentially have to treat Fauci as a messiah. If you were to ask a room full of adults "is corruption a problem in government?" the overwhelming majority would raise their hand. The problem is, most people seem to think the corruption ends where their own bias starts.
