Couple weeks ago in class we watched JSA in class. They're pretty invested the whole N Korean/S Korean conflict so they talked it up a bunch prior. Yeah, I've seen the Bong Joon-Ho stuff prior to learning any Korean because like you said, it kinda makes its way into most conversations. Kastrada posted... For some reason I had no problem finding Japanese artists when I was looking for songs for a play lists, but like you said, a lot of the stuff I've looked for sounds "samey". Like, it seems like the appeal is more the singers and their choreography than the songs themselves. But again, I've spent like an hour at most exploring. AlisLandale posted... Oh well, its childish but I actually like Shinbi Apartment lol. Its like, a kids show about magic and ghost hunting adventures or something. I think the first season is on USA Netflix as Haunted House. Wouldve lost my shit over it if I saw it when I was 10 lmao. (Apparently its similar to Yokai Watch? But I know jack shit about Yokai Watch)Ooh, thanks. One thing that kind of bummed me out is that Korean anime isn't really a thing. Even the Korean stuff like Tower of God and God of Highschool is Japanese animated. Tyranthraxus posted... There's tons of Korean shows on Netflix.See that's my concern. There's so much.
